This area is filled with many cross country skiing and downhill opportunities. Killington and Pico Resorts offers the most downhill skiing and riding in the northeast. However, with the beautiful train there are many gently sloping trails groomed for your cross country enjoyment.

Vermont is home to an extensive ‘highway’ of snowmobile trails. The Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) organization maintains and grooms over 5,000 miles of trails. Visit their website to learn more about riding your own snowmobile on their trails.

Where to Go
Ski Biking is offered exclusively on the slopes of Killington Mountain. Fat Biking, however, can be enjoyed in many different locations. Pine Hill Park offers the most groomed trails in the winter and is a great option for all levels.

Sightseeing
Each season provides an opportunity for sightseeing in Vermont. In the Winter, get in your car and visit some of the neighboring villages or some of our frozen ponds and lakes.
Where to Go
Woodstock and historic Plymouth look like Hallmark card villages. Take a drive down Cloudland Road after a snowstorm. And make sure to look out for ice sculpture events and other activities away from the mountain.
