As we gear up for a fantastic Father’s Day weekend and welcome the arrival of summer, there’s so much to celebrate and look forward to in our vibrant community. From honoring the incredible Dads among us to congratulating our young graduates, and diving into a season full of exciting events and activities, there’s something for everyone.

This Father’s Day, we honor every kind of dad out there – the everyday heroes, the mentors, the fun-loving adventurers, and the steadfast supporters. Whether you’re spending the day with your dad, remembering him fondly, or celebrating someone who has been like a father to you, let’s make Sunday special and full of joy.

Summer Countdown:

Summer officially starts in one week, and the temperatures next week are here to remind us that it’s going to be a hot one! 🌞🔥School’s Out, Congrats Grads:

Yesterday was the last day of the school year for Killington Elementary School and Woodstock Union Middle School High School. A big thank you goes to Mad Hatter’s Scoops as they once again were generous enough to offer a free scoop to all the students.
Congratulations to high school graduates and the KES 6th grade class moving up to 7th grade! 🎓🎉 We know you’ll do amazing things in middle school.

Sweet Treats for Charity:

We’re excited to announce a terrific upcoming event – Bakes for Breast Cancer! This national event will see Vermont’s participation during the week of July 19-25, 2024. We encourage all Killington businesses or even individuals who might like to host a bake sale to join the fun and support a great cause. Indulge in dessert-filled goodness with designated sweet treats from participating establishments, with proceeds benefiting breast cancer research. You can register here. A KPAA staff member will be reaching out shortly to gage your interest and help get you registered – if you need it! 🍰
