Did you know that the Killington Pico Area Association Monthly Mixers are always open to all community members?
The mixers are a great way for community members to meet and greet with local business owners and employees. Every month a different business is featured, giving them the opportunity to showcase what their business has to offer. Mixers help to form a connection between the Town, the residents, the business community, and the Killington Resort.
As well as great conversation and camaraderie, every community mixer also includes:
- 50/50 raffle, half of which goes to the winner and half goes to the beautification account which contributes to the road beautification project each year
- A door prize of tickets to the Paramount Theatre
- Cash bar
- Appetizers
The November mixer is on November 5th from 5:00-7:00PM at Hops on the Hill in the Mountain Green Resort and condo complex. Hops on the Hill will be making their debut as the new restaurant opening in the Mountain Green. They are planning to feature a healthy selection of beers and delicious food – two things almost everyone can get excited about. They are looking forward to being a new and exciting option in close proximity to the resort. The mixer will be a great way for Hops on the Hill to be introduced to the community and vice versa so stop by, say hi, and see what they’ve got going on. Black Dog Sports is the second host of the November mixer.
Black Dog Sports is also located in the Mountain Green and is owned by Dave Manning, who is known as one of the country’s best ski tuners. The central location of the ski shop makes Black Dog a prime spot for ski and snowboard rentals, but they also offer other amenities such as ski and snowboard equipment, apparel and accessories. Now with Hops on the Hill in the same building, you can grab a beer while you wait for your skis to be tuned! You can’t beat that.
The December Mixer will be held on Thursday, December 5th at 5:30PM at the Killington Grand so that businesses can decorate their display trees for Holiday Festival.
